Effective February 2026, the Indonesian Ministry of Investment (BKPM) has fully integrated the ESG Performance Index into the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. Corporations operating in the manufacturing and extractive sectors are now required to submit quarterly sustainability metrics to maintain operational permits. Furthermore, new amendments to the Beneficial Ownership transparency regulations mandate that all private entities (PT) disclose ultimate control structures through the updated AHU-Online portal to combat money laundering and enhance ease of doing business for foreign investors.
